This policy explains what information Nanjai Virunthu ("we", "us") collects through https://nanjaivirundhu.com/, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

1. Information we collect

• Order details — your name, mobile number, delivery address with area, landmark and pincode, or your preferred takeaway pickup time, along with the items you ordered.
• Table bookings — your name, mobile number, booking date, time and number of guests.
• Catering enquiries — your name, mobile number, email if you give it, event type, date, venue, guest count, requirements and budget range.
• Messages — anything you type into our contact form.
• Technical data — your IP address and a session cookie that remembers what is in your cart. If Google Analytics is enabled we also receive standard, anonymous usage data.

2. Why we collect it

• To prepare, pack and deliver your order, or hold your table.
• To call or message you on WhatsApp about the status of an order, booking or enquiry.
• To send you a catering quotation when you ask for one.
• To keep our own records of sales and to improve the menu and the website.

3. Payment information

We do not store card numbers, UPI PINs or bank credentials on this website. Cash and pay-at-restaurant orders are settled in person. UPI payments happen in your own UPI app. If online payment through a gateway is enabled, the payment is processed by that gateway under its own privacy policy and we only receive a payment reference.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with:

• our own kitchen and delivery staff, so your order reaches you;
• our web hosting provider, which stores the website database;
• WhatsApp / Meta, when you choose to send us a message through WhatsApp;
• any authority we are legally required to disclose it to.

5. How long we keep it

Order, booking and enquiry records are kept for our business and accounting records. Contact-form messages are kept until they are dealt with. You can ask us to delete your personal details at any time using the contact details below, except where we are required to keep them for tax or legal reasons.

6. Cookies

We use one essential session cookie so the website remembers your cart and keeps forms secure. It is deleted when you close your browser. If analytics is enabled, Google sets its own cookies — you can block these in your browser settings without affecting ordering.

7. Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Call or message us and we will action it.
